VolksWagen Touareg cars reviews - Volkars
No difficult conditions are a scare for Volkswagen Touareg, in fact from the very beginning it was designed as a car for the military purposes, that means minimum of comfort and maximum of functionality.
But consumers demanded technical improvement, and soon, on serial models, full drive was installed, and then there also was an absolutely new off-road car Volkswagen Touareg. Externally reminding a large estate car put on a high chassis, the owner of a wide body and the road clearance of 215 mm, this powerful "animal" conquers also by its internal equipment: a huge range of adjustments of seats and the rudder, the arrangement of each device under its glass, and also very spacious interior, in which electronics reigns.
Considering that the car is big, the rudder is easy enough, and to maneuver such car at small speeds is very simple. Big wheels simply pass hollows, joints and patches of asphalt. Rigid enough, but the suspension does not cause discomfort, confidently prevents the swing of the heavy car on waves of asphalt, and also rolls in turns. Volkswagen Touareg cannot brag of good off-roading at high speeds, but it is fine on average speeds.
The best responses about Volkswagen Touareg is when driving on asphalt, for which a rigid and a short-run suspension suits much more. Off-road qualities of Volkswagen Touareg are perfectly shown in the version with a pneumosuspension.
Tests of Volkswagen Touareg have shown, that, combining the characteristics and advantages of at once three classes of cars (a true off-road car, a luxury sedan, and a sportcar), the car has excellent road and off-road characteristics.
